Cupid's Inspiration Biography
Cupid's Inspiration’s first single “Yesterday Has Gone” released in 1968 reached the top of the British charts and was followed by two more charting singles “My World” and “Without your Love”.
In 1970 singer Terry Rice-Milton was replaced by Martin Cure (The Peeps, Rainbows, Still Life) and later in 1970 Paul Shanahan and Bob Poole joined the band on Guitar and Bass. Drummer Roger Gray left the band in 1972 to be replaced by Andy Chaplin.
Experiencing only an occasional change of drummer, this line up continued touring up until 1990 during which time their reputation as one of the best live sixties bands was confirmed wherever they played.
