Born in the fifties, Bob Poole from Coventry England began his career playing guitar and singing with local Leamington rock and blues bands such as Blues Condition and Tobias Heat before joining British 60's chart group Cupid's Inspiration on bass who's biggest hit "Yesterday Has Gone" stayed at the top of the British charts for 8 weeks.

He toured with all the famous bands of that era including: The Love Affair, The Tremeloes, The Swinging Blue Jeans, Marmalade, The Troggs, P.J. Proby, Hermans Hermits, The Nashville Teens and The Drifters. 

Bob is a veteran professional artist and as well as extensive touring has done many T.V. and radio shows over the years and shared recording studios with the likes of The Beatles, The Kinks, Gary Moore and Alvin Lee.

Moving to Germany in 1991 as a better geographic location for his constant international traveling, Bob played in German rock bands such as Snakebite, Blackfoot and Shark Sandwich as well as writing and producing albums for various German bands and has with his solo show entertained audiences all over the world from Austria to China. As well as his live work, Bob is a successful songwriter and record producer.

Upon returning to the UK in 2009 where Bob renewed contact with ex Cupid's Inspiration member Paul Shanahan.
Bob and Paul Shanahan consequently re-formed Cupid's Inspiration with old friend, vocalist Paul "Tommy" Thomas on vocals.
