Paul Thomas - Vocals
Paul began his career in the Early 1960’s Singer with local band Sons Of Sin. Mid 1960’s formed Sporting Life playing soul music. Supported such soul luminaries as Geno Washington also played with famous pop bands such as Amen Corner featuring Andy Fairweather Lowe. Late 1960’s Formed Peppermint Circus. Signed record deal with Polydor and later A&M records. Recorded 5 singles; often appeared live on BBC radio one club which was presented by Dave Lee Travis, Terry Wogan, Johnny Walker and Alan Freeman. T.V. appearances included: The Golden Shot, Discotheque, Lift Off and other shows. During the 1970’s Paul became a session singer for songwriter/producers Ben Findon and Pete Shelley. With his band Hard Horse had hit records in Holland and Scandinavia. Toured Europe including TV performances in Holland. Formed new band Bullet. Recorded two hit singles which charted in Europe. 1980’s Moved to Spain where he ran his own video film company. 1990’s Re located to the UK, worked as head of security for Rolls Royce, then became an environmental enforcement officer until 2011 when with Paul Shanahan and Bob Poole re-formed Cupid's Inspiration. |
